UTOPIA Cares
On July 21, 2018, the Fraternal Order of Utopia visited the Utopia Gawad Kalinga (G.K.) Village, the first and only Gawad Kalinga Village sponsored by a fraternity. This meaningful gathering was a testament to the fraternity’s unwavering commitment to service and community development.
During their visit, the Brods sponsored food and dessert for the residents, sharing a meal that symbolized their deep connection and solidarity. They also had the opportunity to meet with the Utopia Student-Scholars, all of whom had recently graduated—many with Latin honors—a proud achievement for both the scholars and the fraternity that supported them.
The residents of the G.K. Village expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Utopia Gawad Kalinga Heads—Atty. Antonio Bernardo, Atty. "Buddy" Campos, and Atty./Amb. Ariel Abadilla—for their tireless efforts and unwavering dedication. However, in an emotional speech, Atty. Bernardo humbly redirected the appreciation, thanking the residents instead for giving him and the fraternity the opportunity and privilege to serve.
This visit reaffirmed the core principles of the Fraternal Order of Utopia: Service. Sacrifice. Excellence.

In February 2025, Brod Roy Rafols (Utopia 1981, Lakas Loob) of Utopia Cares extended his generosity to the young learners of Tanabag Elementary School by distributing educational toys and materials to the Kindergarten class. This initiative aimed to support early childhood education by providing tools that foster creativity, learning, and engagement among young students. Through Utopia Cares, Brod Roy continues to embody the fraternity’s commitment to service, sacrifice, and excellence, ensuring that education remains a priority for future generations.
